Another stellar installment from the Originals line comes with the adidas Originals Trimm-Trab.  Dressed in Orange suede with Pool branding an accents, the smooth upper is placed on a clean white outsole with the brand name present.

The Trimm-Trab, which translated means “keep yourself fit”, is a true original with its roots dating back to the late 70′s.  Although it bares resemblance to other classic adidas models it distinguishes itself with its unique Ghilly lacing system.  Trim-Trab fans can scoop a pair now from JD Sports.

Two new running releases to preview from adidas Originals and their select Consortium range. The ZX 8000 is seen in a well-chosen gray/black and teal colorway, while the SP Torsion is featured in less conservative color combining magenta, yellow, light blue and gray. Adidas Originals will be releasing three new styles from their Consortium series of sneakers this Saturday at select adidas Originals retailers. This release will include collaborations with colette, Crooked Tongues, and VA. Each collaboration is on a different adidas Originals sneaker that represents the collaborators respective city. These three will be made available at all UNDFTD locations on Saturday, December 12th.

Following up our initial preview in November, here’s a closer look in the upcoming Star Wars capsule collection from adidas Originals. Although some models go all out with the classic graphics and color schemes, others remain a bit tamer, while all still doing an excellent job of translating the iconic film franchise into a wearable collection of footwear and apparel.

Shown below are various adidas models featuring inspiration from key Star Wars characters, including Yoda, Darth Vader, Stormtrooper, Luke Skywalker, and Princess Leia, amongst others.

Today we get a first more detailed look at the adidas Originals Plants Pack. The pack, with obvious inspiration from the world of plants, consists of the Nizza Hi Plant, Samba Plant, Forum Mid Plant, Stan Smith 80s Plant and the Superstar 80s Plant. All sneakers of the pack come in premium white leathers with an enhanced adidas Trefoil logo and the sole inspired by soil.

Designer Jeremy Scott’s work with adidas has received mixed reviews, from ‘heads and celebs alike. We first saw the J Wings sneaker almost a year ago in an all white colorway, and up now is this pair in metallic silver and black.

On any other shoe, the first thing that anyone would notice would be the metallic silver leather upper, but because the namesake wings along the side, we can immediately see that these aren’t your average adidas. The old school thick midsole and outsole are done in black, contrasting the stitching throughout. Scott’s signature also appears near the heel and the debray near the toes features a grill with “Jeremy” on the “teeth.”

Can you see yourself grabbing a pair of these, or are the wings, even if they are removable, just too much?

Seeing that the 2009-2010 NBA season just began, we are sure to see an abundance of NBA-inspired sneakers throughout the last quarter of the year. A couple of days ago, photos of a adidas Originals Superstar “LA Lakers” surfaced in honor of the Los Angeles Lakers ring and banner-hanging ceremony. adidas has now created a group of Centennials that pays tribute to spiecific teams in the western conference.The name is Adidas Originals NBA Western Conference Pack

The teams honored in this pack include the Houston Rockets (shown to the right), the San Antonio Spurs, the Minneapolis Lakers, the Dallas Mavericks and the Denver Nuggets. All pairs possess a 100% suede base, a enlarged vintage tongue and a white sole; each pair will also come with an extra set of laces in an additional color. Available now at Adidas’s online store.

To many people’s excitement, the 2009-2010 NBA season begins tonight. The world champion Los Angeles Lakers are one of the teams that have a game on opening night. At the beginning of their game against the Clippers, the NBA will acknlowedge their championship with a ring ceremony and a banner raising. In addition, adidas will be honoring the Lakers’s feat by releasing a special edition Superstar colorway.

Obviously, this Superstar’s colorway is inspired by the Lakers color scheme. It features a mainly metallic gold leather upper with the multiple yellow and purple accents throughout the upper. Specifically, the infamous Lakers logo is seen on the tongue just below the adidas logo and on the insole.

The latter area also feautres the number 15 which represents the 15th NBA championship for the Lakers. In addition, the three stripes are done up in purple and yellow, while the toe cap, shoelaces and the sole are colored in white. How does this Superstar stack up against previous Lakers inspired sneakers?

UNDFTD has just taken stock with the latest in Jeremy Scott’s 2009 Fall/Winter Adidas Originals by Originals footwear collection. The marquee Wings High model comes in two colorways including silver and black. Available now at select retailers as well as UNDFTD locations.

Today we see an early release of the adidas Originals Five-Two 3 Samba Madsaki. The sneaker comes as part of an artist group of the Five-Two 3 Project. The artist worked on the Samba, which comes with an exotic leather upper, a pattern over the mid-sole and over the lace-flap. All branding on the sneaker has been re-interpreted in the Madsaki signature font. The sneaker is already available at Rice & Beans.
