Adidas Originals renders another color-up for the reliable ZX8000 silhouette. White/Coral/Grey is a pleasing make-up perhaps due to its overlap with Jeff Staple’s world-renowned pigeon colorway. The upper is a tripartite combination of mesh, nubuck, and leather.

Atlanta Hawks forward Josh Smith has been sporting the adidas TS Supernatural Commander for the majority of the season in two colorways for the most part. However, Smith will bring out this custom adidas TS Supernatural Commander for the playoffs starting tomorrow.

Smith designed this particular adidas TS Supernatural Commander on miadidas.com, a website where you are able to design their own adidas TS Supernatural sneaker. Supposedly, the Atlanta Hawks’s slogan for this year’s playoffs is “Our Time”; therefore, these words are visible on this Supernatural Commander’s midfoot strap. As for the colorway, this shoe coincides perfectly with the Hawks jerseys as it features a primarily, perforated white leather base with minimal red accents throughout the upper. Expect to see Smith wearing these sneakers in the Hawks first round matchup with the Milwaukee Bucks tomorrow. In addition, Smith will auction off signed pairs of his miadidas playoff shoe, with all proceeds benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta.

Just because adidas has equipped a number of NBA athletes with either the addias TS Supernatural Commander  or Creator, doesn’t mean that the brand’s influence is only felt within the basketball realm. A while back the adidas team designed the Eddie Merckx signature sneaker for the Belgian cyclist. Now, Brooklyn Machine Works has teamed up with the adidas crew for the release of another Eddie Merckx colorway- this time around in metallic silver with red and blue accents throughout.

A May 15th release date is scheduled from the No74 store in Berlin. Moreover, although this isn’t the only adidas retailer that will be releasing these, you’ll have to check with your local adidas carrier to see if anywhere in the states will be equipped with this drop at some point.

Represented by heroic sport icons from Stan Smith and Ilie Nastase to “Pistol Pete” Maravich, adidas has always been there for athletes on and off the court. Its Court & Ball Collection for Spring/Summer 2010 features products with roots that originated on the great tennis and basketball courts of the world.

It’s a comfortable and cool collection to keep you on your game everywhere, from the stadium to the street, paying tribute to the brand’s heritage while adding some new twists to keep it fresh. The collection is now available online  and in-store through adidas Originals Flagship locations.

The adidas Stan Smith is often seen with a low cut and a clean, single-color build. The latter style philosophy was utilized for this collaboration with streetwear heavy-hitter 10.Deep, but a Mid silhouette was chosen instead.

The uppers use premium suede all over in a subdued Iron color. The triple stripe design was done in perforation, as was the 10.Deep logo, which stretches across both shoes on the medial sides. Details include a gum bottom and a special top eyelet. As for labeling, the heel of the insole displays both brands’ logos, while the tongue shows a 10.Deep patch sewn over an adidas Trefoil logo, which is similar to a t-shirt design the streetwear brand uses.

The first round of Star Wars x adidas Originals releases was a smash hit. Not only were fans of the classic movie series thrilled, but sneakerheads found that the movie homage series was capable of producing some solid shoes. This next pair of Sambas pay tribute to, and take cues from, the legendary X-Wing fighter.

The upper has been designed in a light grey color, and treated to look as though it’s the surface of the ship. Panels, rivets and “damage” all appear. Darker grey can be found on the midsole, liner and tongue. Red accents are also scattered throughout. These were available for pre-order earlier this year, but have landed at select retailers like Sneakersnstuff.

The original release of the adidas Trimm Trab dates back to 1977. The silhouette is now brought back under the theme of the  Games Pack. The Games Pack features a multitude of shoes, each referencing a classic English game. In the case of the Trimm Tab, Subbuteo (table soccer) is represented. Adidas makes this reference by covering the upper in green suede, lining the shoe with orange fabric, and stamping a soccer ball on the back. And so you may enjoy to what the shoe alludes, there is a Subbuteo set that accompanies the shoe.

The Star Wars x adidas Originals collection is one of, if not the best movie-inspired designs ever created (see our Sneaker Geeks: 11 of the Best Movie-Inspired Sneakers). The comment section was filled with positive remarks when we first revealed this collection at the end of last year. However, we have spotted yet another Star Wars x adidas Originals sneaker that was not unveiled with the aforementioned collection.

This time around, famed designer CLOT lent his design efforts on this Star Wars x adidas Originals sneaker. It is different from all of the other Star Wars x adidas Originals in that it is not inspired by a certain character in the Star Wars movie. Instead, this Skate High pays tribute to Planet Hoth in the infamous Star Wars movie. Seeing that this is merely a preview of the sneaker, we can’t describe it ultimately; however, we can see that it features a white, fur inner lining with Star Wars x adidas branding on the heel and inner-side of the tongue. Thanks to neon yellow and green accents aplenty, this next pair of adidas Originals Fortitude Mids maintains an old school tennis aesthetic.

Grey leather, nubuck and mesh are used for the majority of the upper, appearing on the quarters, tip and toe, respectively. To jump off that neutral base, the aforementioned neon yellow color is used on the laces and tongue tag. A bit of black is also used on the forefoot and lower portion of the midfoot.

The zip-up Nizza Hi has returned for this season, thanks to the team at adidas Originals. This unique take on the classic shoe originally came as a part of the Five-Two 3 pack, but has been redesigned in four colorways, all of which are available at an Originals retailer near you now.

Rather than mix in too many colors and disturb the lines of the Nizza Hi’s silhouette, single color blocking is used. The uppers are constructed with a synthetic material and come in grey, navy blue, red and black. On the heel, a zipper stretches from the collar to the sole, allowing you to put them on or take them off without ever touching the laces.
