Jordan Brand’s newest training silhouette, the Pre-Game XT has hit shelves, including Nike Store. The Alpha Trunner excited many readers with its crossover appeal. Will this hoops-specific trainer do the same?

Black suede and mesh combine on the upper to make for a breathable, lightweight build. The Varsity Red stripes along the midfoot not only make for a utilitarian look, but also serve as lace hoops for the matching red laces. The Jumpman along the side and the outsole use the same Varsity Red hue.

The highly-anticipated Air Jordan 9 “Citrus”, a sneaker many of you have coveted since early spring, made its way to retailers today. However, the “Citrus” colorway is not the only new Air Jordan 9  on the market currently.

With that said, Jordan Brand recently released another Air Jordan 9 in a white/turquoise/lemon-metallic silver color scheme. If you’re feeling this Air Jordan 9, don’t get your hopes up too much as this particular colorway is only available in kid sizes. It contains a primarily white leather base with lemon and turquoise accents in the form of the laces, inner lining and Jordan branding. Lastly, a  metallic silver midsole offsets the entire base. Now available at Extra Butter among other retailers.

The Air Jordan One6One7 has made a number of Kicks On Court appearances on the feet of Mike Bibby, but not much else been seen of the low top .5 sneaker. For Fall, at least two more colorways are scheduled to release.

Both utilize black patent leather heels and toes, as well as leather uppers. The first pair uses a white base and midsole, and relies on a clear outsole, giving a “Concord”-esque quality to them. Check out our previous look at these of this one for more looks. The other pair replaces all of the above’s white areas with black, though it still relies on a white backing for its clear outsole. Both will hit shelves this Fall, just in time for the 2010-2011 hoops season.

While dates have changed and information has come and gone about the releases of these Air Jordan 2 retros, interest from readers has remained unwavering. Sure, these will be overlooked thanks to today’s “Silver Anniversary” release and other expected Summer retros, but the 2 remains a favorite silhouette to many. You’ll have to wait just over three weeks to get your hands on a pair, but overseas retailers have begun selling them now, giving us the detailed look we’re taking today.

The shoe itself owns simple lines and a relatively clean build. The white tumbled leather of the upper is complemented mostly by black, though the Varsity Red on the heel and outsole, as well as other points, works to complete the necessary Chicago Bulls-inspired look. The fact that these drop the week in between the “Lakers” AJ6s and White/University Blue 9s means you may get more than one chance to decide on them. Will they ultimately make it into your closet?

Last week, we notified you of the “Citrus” Air Jordan 9 Retro releasing on July 3rd 2010. Upon hearing this information, a lot of you stated that this sneaker was a definite purchase and a great way to kick off the firework celebrations for Independence Day. While we impatiently await its arrival, detailed photos of the “Citrus” Air Jordan 9 Retro have surfaced on the web.

The Air Jordan 9 Retro “Citrus” is a rather interesting release for this summer. We usually do not see a lot of predominately black-colored sneakers in the summer; however, the minimal, citrus accents, seen on the sole, tongue and heel, give this shoe seasonal appeal. Also, the black, 3M reflective material, spotted just above the glossy, midsole add to its head-turning look.

This week, we received release date information on the Air Jordan 9 Retro White/University Blue. It is now scheduled to re-release on May 29th, 2010. Although it isn’t Powder Blue, who else is happy to see this sneaker return for the first time since its official release day?

Carmelo Anthony’s Jordan Melo M6 has not received as much attention as other signature sneakers such as the Nike Air Max LeBron VII, the Nike Zoom Kobe V and the Nike KD II; however many of you were impressed with Anthony’s black/yellow Jordan Melo M6 that he wore at the end of the 2009-2010 NBA regular season.

In addition to the white/university blue Air Jordan 9 Retros, Jordan Brand will also unleash the “Citrus” Air Jordan 9 Retro on July 3rd, 2010.

Following the Air Jordan 6 Retro “Detroit Pistons” that released today, Jordan Brand will soon release the Air Jordan 6 Retro “LA Lakers” on May 15th, 2010.

If you recall, we dubbed this Air Jordan 9 Retro “Citrus” our #10 sneaker in our 10 Sneakers We’re Looking Forward to in 2010. We stated that 2010 would be the ‘year of the Air Jordan 6 and Air Jordan 9′, and it is turning out to be just that. Following the Air Jordan 9 Retro White/Black-University Blue release information we gave you yesterday, we now have learned that the “Citrus” Air Jordan 9 Retro will release on July 3rd, 2010.

This particular Air Jordan 9 Retro features a few design cues that have never been associated with Jordan’s ninth signature sneaker. For example, a glossy, black 3M piecing appears just above the midsole and along the collar section. The rest of the base is done up in black leather and sits atop a white outsole. However, its most glaring features appear in the form of the citrus colored hints seen on the heel, tongue, outsole and inside of the tongue.
