Following up on the recent animated trailer, we get a closer look into the latest project between popular Dutch artist/illustrator Parra and Converse. Part of the (RED) campaign, the shoes feature a beige suede upper with Parra’s cherry character immortalized in an embroidered all-over motif. Look out for a release soon through finer Converse accounts, including Limited Edt Chamber in Singapore.

Following the Converse Skateboarding Lineup we showed you in mid-July, we now have learned of a special release from the line for pro skater Kenny Anderson. This Star Player  was designed specifically for the aforementioned skater and possesses his name on the inner side of the tongue.

As for the sneaker’s design cues, navy blue suede is offset by white contrast stitching throughout the upper. Other features include a white Converse chevron logo on the side panels, white laces and a white, vulcanized rubber sole (black piping). Now available at DQM.

Bold colors, rhymes and the funny characters that Dr. Seuss made famous are boldly displayed on Chuck Taylor All Star shoes. With some styles looking as if they themselves are straight out of Dr. Seuss-ville, this collection is bound to inspire the dreams of children young and old.

The Air Jordan 2010 may be the weapon of choice for All-Star Dwayne Wade, but opinions and sales have been less than favorable for the shoe overall. Jordan teamed up with Undertow, a Portland trio of artists, to create an aquatic themed colorway for an auction supporting charity.

The Undertow x Air Jordan 2010 collaboration features a white leather upper. Light blue highlights are used on the laces, footbed, heel, and outsole. The forefoot, heel, and inner liner make use of a white and grey pebble pattern that seems to be symbolic of sea pebbles that are found on the bottom of the ocean. “Undertow” branding can be seen on the laces, near the lace eyelets, and on the insole.

With only one pair being produced of this very limited shoe, would this be a colorway of the Air Jordan 2010 that you would be interested in?

Finally, after numerous previews, the Asics Gel Lyte III “Super Red” has been revealed in all its glory. Ronnie Fieg designed this pair as a follow-up to the “Super Blue” that released at the beginning of 2009, and these are set for a Summer release.

If you can’t prevent yourself from being distracted, you can see that this sneaker relies on multiple shades of grey for its base. A black midsole works with a matching liner to further the dark, neutral look. It’s the namesake “Super Red”accents that make this shoe what it is though. They appear at the base of the midfoot, the arches design, heel and the outsole. It’s safe to say that this shoe is one of the most anticipated Asics in some time. If you’re looking to get nautical this Summer, this may be the perfect shoe for you. The Converse Jack Purcell has been seen in a never-ending amount of builds and colors, but this Sailcloth pair may be the best yet.

The upper is made of the namesake sailcloth woven together. The pieces that run horizontally show a white stripe in between two navy blue ones, while the vertically-running strips show navy blue boxes filled with white. A white vulcanized sole and toe cap sit underneath the special upper. Metal eyelets finish off these special Converses, which can be found now at select retailers, including SneakersNStuff.

The Nike Big Nike is coming back from a short hiatus this Summer in the form of this rock ‘n roll-inspired Low. This one is actually paired up with the black High we saw just over a month ago.

White leather is the choice material for the upper, with a special looking appearing on the toe and Swoosh. The material in those areas is studded, similar to the accessories that are a staple in punk and hard rock fashion. The midsole is silver and paired with the heel logo and contrast stitching throughout. Sadly, this pair is a GS release, but our smaller-footed readers and the lady fans may be pleased to still have a chance at this low top near the end of this month.

The designers at Nike decided to pay tribute to their heritage with a newer training silhouette. This Trainer 1 Mid has been dressed to look like the Nike shoe boxes of old.

The entire upper shows a Safety Orange hue. Nubuck, suede and mesh all come together for construction, while the liner uses a light grey color. That same color can be found on the hybrid Free and Air sole. That sole has not been left one color though, but has instead been striped at an angle in two shades of grey, just like classic Nike boxes. The shoe, which can be purchased now at Nike Store, actually comes packaged with the vintage box. The bright orange look may be hard to wear, but these could very well end up a collectors item.

To coincide with the ongoing March Madness NCAA Tournament, Nike unleashed an Air Max Hyperize “Final Four” Pack. So, what team does this particular colorway represent?

We would say Syracuse, but we will not get to see them anymore thanks to Butler’s great play. This Nike Air Max Hyperize features a black patent leather finish similar to three of the Air Max Hyperize incorporated in the “Final Four” Pack. Orange appears throughout the base, namely on the flywire section. It also contains an orange, full-length sole that is sure to bring more comfort to the foot.

You had better get familiar with the Nike Zoom Kobe V “Home,”  as it will continue to be seen regularly, thanks to Los Angeles’ presumed home court advantage for the Playoffs.

Donning an upper of gloss white and snakeskin, this shoe is designed to match the Lakers’ home uniforms. Gold can be found near the heel, on the Swoosh and also on the tongue.
