Not only was 2006 a great year for patent leather forces, but other nicely-textured Air Forces, such as this “HUFquake”, garnered a lot of attention from sneaker lovers. Nike and HUF dropped this quickstrike release in November 2006, and it flew off the shelves much like its predecessors such as the HUFquake Dunk and the HUFmax Air Max 1.

The “Hufquake” Air Force 1 were one of the more highly-anticipated store-collaborated Air Force 1s to ever released. These shoes not only possess a nice colorway, but they also have a great theme. It recognizes the earthquake of 1906 that destroyed HUF’s hometown of San Francisco. The  “HUFquake” features a black and lime green upper with various cracks on the upper and midsole representing the destruction of a typical earthquake. Other features include a solid, black bottom and a  lime green inner lining which gives the shoe a nice, color contrast.

Metallic silver and hyperblue. Quite the eye-catching combination of colors, especially when applied over a white-soled Air Force 1 High. Before you get too excited, these are a women’s release, but as we’ve mentioned before – depending on your foot size – there’s a good chance you can make these work. Spotted at Shoe Planet.

From the Nike Air Force 1 Futura Pack comes the AF1 High. The sneaker comes in navy/white/orange and feature the words “Be True” on the outer soles. The tongue features a tag reading “Future” in the iconic Futura font.

The sneaker is available in very limited quantities at Osneaker. The pack will only officially release Spring 2010.More detailed images of the sneaker follow after the jump.

There are a few holidays each year in which various sneaker companies release a special shoe or pack of shoes to celebrate the holiday and festivities. One of those holidays happens to be Halloween, a holiday in which Nike has created a number of special products to celebrate the day in the past.

This year, Nike will release this “Savage Beast” Air Force 1 Low that features an upper completely covered in Orange Pony Hair. The Swoosh on the shoe comes in White and aside from that there isn’t much on the shoe that isn’t either Pony Hair or Orange or both. On the heel of the shoe the words “Savage Beast” are written. Expect these to be released sometime near the middle of October.
