Designer Jeremy Scott’s work with adidas has received mixed reviews, from ‘heads and celebs alike. We first saw the J Wings sneaker almost a year ago in an all white colorway, and up now is this pair in metallic silver and black.

On any other shoe, the first thing that anyone would notice would be the metallic silver leather upper, but because the namesake wings along the side, we can immediately see that these aren’t your average adidas. The old school thick midsole and outsole are done in black, contrasting the stitching throughout. Scott’s signature also appears near the heel and the debray near the toes features a grill with “Jeremy” on the “teeth.”

Can you see yourself grabbing a pair of these, or are the wings, even if they are removable, just too much?

We get a detailed look at the new collaboration between adidas Originals and Kalavinka Bikes. Together they created a new version of the adidas Originals Samba. It comes in a premium white leather colorway with blue stripes and details, along with a multicolor stripe on the heel and a lace guard. Matching the sneaker they of course also produced a fixed gear bike.

Here comes the next preview from the adidas Originals OT Tech Collection, which will be released this Fall/Winter 2009 season. After showing you the Tokyo Hi and the Torsion Special Mid the other day, here comes now the Tokyo Lo.

The running sneakers keeps its classic appearance all the way, while being stocked with technical features, including a complete Gore-Tex lining. A great way of bringing a classic up to date. Look out for a release in the coming months.

After already showing you the Torsion Special Low and the Tokyo High from the adidas Originals Fall/Winter 2009 Tokyo Tech Collection, we can give you a first look today at the Torsion Special Mid. The sneaker is of course based on the Torsion Special running shoe and comes as part of this new collection in a mid version.

Like most of the footwear in the Tokyo Tech line-up, also this one comes with a Gore-Tex lining, making sure no wind and water get through to your feet.

The upper comes in blue/lack/grey tones and with the occasional pink accent, which is also featured in the lining. Look out for a global release in the coming weeks.

adidas Originals will soon be releasing the first installment of the new Tokyo Tech collection. The line has been entirely designed in Japan and fuses functionality with sleek design.

More on that very soon. Today we give you an exclusive first preview of the Tokyo Hi Gore-Tex from the collection. The original Tokio was first introduced in 1964 and was at one time one of the most successful running shoes in the adidas line-up.

For Fall/Winter 2009 the sneaker returns in a mid ankle version in a brown/yellow colorway with a complete Gore-Tex lining. Look out for a release in the coming weeks.

adidas Originals continues to work with Vespa on footwear and apparel, translating the lifestyle of the iconic scooter brand into fashion. For Fall/Winter 2009 they once again present a solid line-up of sneakers, along with some nice clothing.

Especially the jackets in the collection look great and perfectly fit the scooter style.

adidas presents their basketball inspired Centenninal Mid sneaker in the Eastern Conference Pack. The pack consists of 5 colorways, each inspired by a NBA team from the Eastern Conference.

We have never been big fans of sneakers featuring team logos/graphics, yet adidas took a rather subtle approach on these, compared to previous ones, and the turn out is rather clean. The uppers come in premium suede and the team graphics are only featured on the tongue. If you are wearing pants with these, you will not even see it at first.

The 15th anniversary of the Diesel-headed 55DSL has resulted in a series of different colalborations for the brand. Having seen Diesel and adidas partner up on a line of denim, 55DSL reaps the benefits of the relationship with this adidas Originals Nizza.

The shoe’s simple canvas upper is adorned with trademark 55DSL colorways including blue and red with the package completed via a handful of different lace choices. The shoe will release at the 55DSL store in Tokyo on August 29th.
