This pair a possesses a completely black toe and heel panel. In addition, a patent leather material is used on the toe cap.

2010 has brought, and will continue to bring, us a number of brand new Nike Basketball designs. The Flight Light 2010 is a revamped version of the classic Air Flight Lite however, and has been made available in only a small handful of colors.

This pair is the third to drop and is now available at Finish Line. White leather provides a base against which black suede and mesh and various red accents contrast. Full-length Air cushioning is embedded in a Phylon midsole.

With the coveted Nike Air Max 1 White/Varsity Royal releasing last month and the Nike Air Max 90 Infrared set to release later this month, there is no doubt that Nike has been, and will be, bringing the ‘heat’ when it comes to the Air Max line.

This pair, found via eBay, is an unreleased sample of the Air Max 1 featuring colors, patterns, and materials we rarely see. The pair features white mesh on the toe box and black leather around the entire shoe. In addition to the uneven black and white striped print used on the side panels, a purple inner liner, purple outsole, and silver Swoosh are also used to grab attention. A grey midsole, along with black laces, finish off the shoe. It is unknown why Nike didn’t released this pair of Nike Air Max 1s, but for the price they sold for on eBay, maybe Nike should reconsider.

While dates have changed and information has come and gone about the releases of these Air Jordan 2 retros, interest from readers has remained unwavering. Sure, these will be overlooked thanks to today’s “Silver Anniversary” release and other expected Summer retros, but the 2 remains a favorite silhouette to many. The shoe itself owns simple lines and a relatively clean build. Back in 2007, the Nike Air Foamposite One was given to us in one of the most popular colorways to ever be placed on a basketball shoe–black and red. However, that shoe lacked one very important element in Foamposite lore–the icy outsole. For Summer of this year though, the red sole on this pair will possess the all-important attribute of translucency.

Black foam covers the entire upper of this pair, matching the midfoot and tongue. Accents on the upper maintain the striped look we’re used to seeing, throwing Fire Red in against black again to match the sole. With the Coppers and Egplants having already dropped in 2010, and a rumor that the originals Blue pair will retro this Fall, where does this pair rank against such stiff foam competition? Canvas Nike Dunks may be the next big thing it seems, as these two 6.0 versions are the latest in a recent streak to hit retailers. You’ll likely remember the  grey Low CL colorway that dropped not too long ago.

These two pairs not only feature canvas uppers, helping them separate themselves immediately, but also feature vulcanized soles. Both utilize white soles with black stripes, and the first pair relies on black for its upper as well. A white Swoosh is used for contrast.
